Influence of Allopathy, Alternative therapies and protective measures in Covid-19 management: A Survey study

Abstract
A random survey was conducted to understand the influence of various therapies and protective measures upon 395 Covid patients, 180 non-Covid participants from East Godavari, Guntur and Chittoor by using the prepared sample questionnaire. The participants selected were both male and female aged between 18-58years from students, employees, farmers and homemakers. Among 395 Covid patients, on overall 18-38year age group, gender wise male and occupation wise students were more infected. There was impact of age, sex, occupation and region on the disease incidence. The main reason for higher infection rates in 18-38year age group was most of them were moved in public places to meet their family needs and often attended social gatherings without following Covid-19 protective measures strictly. Occupation wise students and employees were more affected as employees used public utilities and students gathered frequently and played outdoor and indoor games. Most of the Covid-19 patients used Alternative therapies as an additional therapy to Allopathy to combat Covid disease. They expressed Alternative therapies assisted in reducing Covid infection symptoms and helped in faster recovery from the disease. The180 non-Covid participants, strictly followed Covid-19 protective measures and used Alternative therapies. The participants expressed Alternative therapies along with Covid-19 protective measures were effective in preventing Covid-19 disease. It can be understood that Covid-19 spread can be controlled effectively irrespective of age, gender, occupation and location by strictly following Covid-19 protective and preventive measures. Alternative therapies along with Allopathy helps in easing Covid symptoms faster.
